On November 28 in life of the multinational people Zhetysu the event really long-awaited and joyful passed - at the regional centre the House of Friendship opened. It is the real palace under which dome celebrated house warming twenty three national-cultural centers of Almaty area. A word "friendship" always had the special meaning for the inhabitants of our edge: here by uniform family the people of more than hundred nationalities live. Here everything is done together - together we work and we bring up children, together we overcome difficulties and we meet holidays. House of Friendship lung open the doors, inviting all wishing in a spacious hall, under rushed upwards dome as tetrahedral pyramid (symbolizing the peace, stability and calmness). Our Jewish centre settles down on the third floor. In a cozy and light premise of our "Aviv" the library is located, where there are more than 400 books of the Jewish authors, filing of the newspapers Davar and Shalom.


The first visitor of our centre - chairman of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in Almaty area Serik Umbetov positively responded about activity of our centre and especially noted a role of the Jewish community in life of Semirechye.
