Representative of American Jewish Distribution Committee Joint, Max Visel, is visiting Central Asia and Caucasus countries. He met with the President of Mitsva Association, Alexander Baron. In the past, Mr. Visel visited Jewish Community of our Republic many times. The goal of this visit is to improve efficiency of Heseds’ work under conditions of limited financing.

   During his visit, Max Visel will visit Almaty, Uralsk, and Astana. He will meet with staffs of Jewish community centers, will learn about their charity activities and will discuss issues of future financing.

  Kazakhstani representatives of Joint discussed working plan for the next year, possibly Max Visel will visit Karaganda during the International Festival Freilehe Kinder and will come to Almaty during the visit of American students - volunteers to our Jewish Community. Three year strategic working plan was discussed.
