Yesterday in a building of Fund of the First President of Republic of Kazakhstan the exhibition - presentation of pictures - winners of republican competition of children's art creativity "Tolerance - way to culture of the world" was held.

The competition was carried out by Fund of the First President of Republic of Kazakhstan together with Club of the young figures of art "Culture of the world" from September 1 till November 1, 2008. The given project is the winner of competition, past within the framework of Fair of social ideas and projects of 2008.

The basic purpose of competition - is formation at children and teenagers of intercultural, interethnic and interreligious competence, development of tolerance and openness in relation to other people, distribution of culture of the world.

On competition more than 1000 works of children and teenagers from all regions of Kazakhstan were submitted.

The estimation of figures of young competitors was carried out by a commission, which was generated from among the artists, fine art experts, representatives of NGO, international organizations. The quality of works was estimated by the following basic criteria: figurative expressiveness, originality and skill of performance, disclosing of the contents of a theme by plastic means, application of innovation technologies.

On exhibition - presentation 54 best works were submitted. On results of competition the diplomas and costly presents were handed to 9 young winners, 45 competitors received the letters for the best work in six nominations.

On ceremony of rewarding of the winners there were representatives of the diplomatic case, international organizations, national-cultural centers, paint shops of Almaty, establishments of education and others.

 - The exhibition speaks for itself - the member of Board of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan noted, the President of Association of the Jewish national organizations of Kazakhstan "Mitsva" Alexander Baron, - Tolerance is that now is necessary for our country, where the set of the people of different nationalities, different color of skin, different creed lives. And we cannot live all together in the peace without that to bring up in children tolerance.




Within the framework of an exhibition the celebratory concert passed. Before assembled in a hall the children's art collectives Palace of the schoolchildren students of Lyceum # 28 of Almaty acted.
