Last Saturday 85-th anniversary celebrated the retired colonel, veteran of Great , member of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan Leonid Girsh.

Leonid was born on February 10, 1924 in city Kirovograd, on Ukraine. He is the participant of Great Patriotic War since 1941 till1945. Leonid Girsh was the participant of Stalingrad battle, fight on a Kursk arch, speeding up of Dnieper, clearing of Ukraine, Poland, Czechoslovakia, participant of storm of Berlin and clearing of Prague.

The honourable citizen of Almaty area, past famous way from Red Army man up to the colonel, chief of a headquater of a civil defense of city Almaty and Almaty area was congratulated by the representatives of administration of area of city, large public and political figures.

On behalf of the Jewish community jubilee man was congratulated by the President of Association of the Jewish national organizations of Kazakhstan "Mitsva" Alexander Baron.
