Mitsva Association and Jewish Community Center Rimon under the auspices of the American Distribution Center Joint will hold the event "Young Jewish Leaders meet in Sukka" on October 2-4 in Almaty. Program candidates are young dedicated young people (20-40 years old) prominent representatives of communities from 16 cities of Kazakhstan. The exact participants will be defined before Rosh Hashanah.

  Guests from the U.S. and Israel who actively participate in building the community plan to come.

  Project goal: To continue work on attracting and training young leaders of the Jewish Community of Kazakhstan.

  Issues:

                 Feast of Booths and modern time.

                 ? World history of building up Jewish communities.

                 ? Financing of communities activities.

                 ? Defining roles of professional staff and elected leaders.

                 ? Ways of events development and strategic foresight.

                 ? Determining strategy for building Jewish community in Kazakhstan. Developing working plan for the year.

                 ? Discussion club "How I see the development of Jewish communities in Kazakhstan".



  There is a need for active participation of young people in the development of communities. Young leader of the Jewish community is a mature individual with an active living position, committed to personal growth, capable to generate and implement ideas. Mitsva Association makes a lot of efforts to develop a new formation of young specialists for the work in Jewish communities of Kazakhstan.
