Each significant event has the "red" date in a calendar. For Hesed of Kostanay January 9 - is a red day of a calendar. Sharp seven years ago welfare organization Hesed was organized, which main sponsor is American Jewish Distribution Committee "Joint".

The people reached out for Hesed, taking with themselves children and grandchildren. Actively participate in the programs of Community Center youth and children. The people of mature age and those who has no an opportunity to reach in Hesed - get Home care. All holidays are celebrated by a community with its full complement. The program "Jewish traditions" became for our community basic, it collects a plenty of the people.

This birthday of Hesed we celebrated on Shabbat. Recollected the people, which, unfortunately already are not present, but who were ones of the organizors these are Raisa Jornitskaya, Emma Reznikova, Ruvim Perepletchikov, Michael Heifetz. And, certainly, thanked those who fortunately is in full health and until now works in Hesed: Alla Gafurova, Lydia Kazakevitch, Vladimir Lyakhovetsky, activists-volunteers: Ninel Berelovitch, Bertran Rubinstein, Olga Kuperman, Ludmila Kovriga, Nina Rakhman, Nastya Palant, Vadim Chashkov. Many have left for Israel, but the communication with Hesed does not interrupt - the active correspondence is conducted, the videomaterials about life abroad are received.

At the Birthday the Director of Hesed Peter Rubinstein told about made for these years, about those people, that had passed through Hesed, became its part. Also were read and letters of gratitude. Many community members wrote, how important is such organization as Hesed for the Jews, how it is a lot of about culture and traditions of the people knew out our compatriots due to Hesed. And main, that there is such place, where everyone feels as Jew, where finds comprehension and help!
