MASK, I KNOW YOU!

10.03.2009 Shymkent

March 10 in Shymkent, in the House of Friendship of Peoples, passed the holiday Purim. It is a holiday of pleasure, holiday of carnivals - in gratitude to a miracle, which rescued from destruction of the Jews in far Persia.

The chairman of the Jewish cultural centre Edward Atran and director of Hesed Bella Atran congratulated present with a holiday, wished to all the peace, love, health and cheerful Purim. The hall was festively decorated by bright wall newspaper. Children came in fancy dress, in hands at all were rattles, which guys made in a circle "Skilful hands ".

Children of Sunday school opened a concert with verses devoted to Purim. And when they had begun to sing songs, them began to echo the entire hall. Then guys in fancy dresses and masks played Purimshpil, which with delight was accepted by the spectators.

Alexandra Isakova sung cheerful song "in Jewish spirit ". The group "Theatre" (under the direction of Alexander Korotkov) performed potpourri on a theme of the Jewish melodies, "Shir Sameakh" and a lot of other songs. You would see how the hall applauded! Came us to congratulate and dancing collectives of other centers - group "Todes", "Neposedy". Thanks to them for such gift.

At the end of a measure carried out competition on the best fancy dress. As the winners were recognized Vika Sidorenko, Anel Akbalayeva, Lisa Tutushina.

And then all were treated with "Aman's ears ". It is traditional sweet batch, it symbolizes pleasure of desired freedom and miracle of disposal of Jews from intrigues of enemies. Conducting of a holiday Dina Sulumova wished that the cheerful mood Purim did not leave anybody as much longer as it is possible. The holiday managed and on this joyful note all present in a hall, together with group "Theatre", sung a favorite song "Tumabalalayka".
