Svetlana Ivanovana and Gennadiy Alexeyevich Nezhinskiys are active members of our community. They have been going together to the Jewish Center Rimon for many years, in particular to the family club Shalom. They are well known and loved in the community. Svetlana Ivanovna is a volunteer in the library, presenter at literary saloons. She is a professional journalist, often writes articles published in Davar Newspaper and on our website. Gennadiy Alexeyevich is in charge of photo-chronic of the Family Club. This family has recently celebrated a jubilee - 50 years of their marriage! The Family club also got involved, organized a loud celebration on September 5th.

Feast tables were arranged in Hesed Polina. Guests were waiting. Finally, Family Club Leader Sara Perfilevna Dotsenko brought the fiance - Gennadiy into the room. At the same time, our community veteran Arkadiy Rafailovich led the fiancee - Svetlana. The "just married" couple met under the wall newspaper "Happy together" specially devoted to them.

Sara Dotsenko put a flower garland on Svetlana and Gennadiy and opened the celebration, "Today we celebrate the golden wedding of the most active family of our club."

Hesed Director Inessa Chugainova came to congratulate Nezhinskiys: "I wish you good health, optimism, and joy. You are our role models!" She presented the couple with a painting.

Volunteer Maina Kabirova wrote a poem about the life of Nezhnskiys telling about how Gena, a student at men’s school, met Sveta, a student at women’s school, how they were dating, how Sveta was waiting for Gena when he was in the army. Then Svetlana graduated from Journalistic department at the university and worked in the "Teachers’ Newspaper", while Gennadiy became a lawyer. Then they had a daughter Ella, who is a teacher now giving her kindness to children. Ella has two grown up girls - Yulia and Masha. Yulia is a mother of Vanechka - Nezhinskiy’s grand grand son. That’s the link between generations.

Violinists were singing for the newlyweds with Yuriy Galushkin taking the lead, Natalya and Arkadiy Rafailoviches were singing and playing a guitar. All together the guests performed the song "Grandmother and grandfather".

Community Veteran Lyubov Koretskaya congratulated the couple and said, "We all know that marriages are made in heaven. Nezhnskiy’s family proves that. Gena and Svetlana are voracious readers. Once when they were still children, they were hanging out after school together and popped in a book store where there was a subscription on a full collection of Esenin’s poems. They could find money only for one volume. Gena as a real man said, "You should have this book. We will get married after school anyway."

Sara Dotsenko presented the "newlyweds" with a gift on behalf of the Family club and thanked everybody who participated in preparations for the celebration.

At the end, the Nizhnskiys were given floor. Setlana Ivanovna said, "Thank you all. The club makes me feel needed. It is great that you are my friends."

Gennadiy Alexeyevich said, "Thank you all. I always loved to go to the club." Guests left their messages and best wishes in the wall newspaper.
