In the lobby of Hotel Kazakhstan On June 11, an International Forum of Ethno-cultural Organizations "Through Cultural Dialog to Peace and Consent" took place, organized by the Ministry of Culture, People’s Assembly of Kazakhstan, and the Fund of Spiritual Development.

On behalf of the Jewish Community President of Mitsva Association Alexander Baron and Chairman of the Jewish Cultural Center Alexander Gudkov participated in the Forum.

The meeting was opened by the Minister of Culture Mr Mukhtar Kul-Mukhamed, "Our Forum is a dialog between East and West. There is a national strategic project aimed at strengthening peace and tolerance is being implemented in Kazakhstan. The Forum will help us summarize Kazakhstan’s experience of living in peace in a multi ethnical environment."

Representatives of Senate and Mazhilis, People’s Assembly of Kazakhstan, cultural centers and funds, leading university Professors of France, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan made reports at the Forum. The speakers presented their point of view on the language as the main link among cultures, discussed experience of European countries related to ethnical minorities, discussed the Doctrine on the National Unity, and Kazakhstan’s Chairmanship in OSCE.
