LOVE AND PATIENCE IN THE WORKS OF ART

Almaty 14.09.10

In the Exhibition Hall of Hesed Polina a photo exhibition of Oleg Belyalov "Semirechye. Seasons of the Year" opened on September 14. Lots of guests came to admire the views of Semirechye and animalistic pictures.

President of Mitsva Association, "Today my friend Oleg Belyalov is opening his exhibition. It is his first show since he turned 50. I would like to wish him a creative longevity and express my admiration of his works." Hesed Director Inessa Chugainova presented the author with flowers. Director of Republican Jewish Library Galina Korobkina presented the author with a luxury edition of "Jews in the 20th century."

The member of the Union of Moviemakers of Kazakhstan Nikolay Postnikov, "I had a different image of the exhibition before I came here. But when I looked at the pictures I realized that the most important thing in life for Oleg is nature. Not everybody has the eye to see what Oleg can see. I congratulate the author with his amazing achievements."

Stage Director Alexander Golovinskiy, "I have known the Belyalov’s family for a long time. I remember Oleg’s grandmother, his father a dedicated scientist-ornithologist, who could wait for months when birds, for example eagles, would have babies. Oleg inherited this endurance and hard-workiness. His works reflect his love and patience. Oleg feels the shot, feels the air. When digital cameras appeared on the market everybody became a photographer but only time shows what pictures are really good. The photographer’s pictures were proved by time, each of them is a work of art."

Photographer and a businessman Felix Shparberg, "I admire what Oleg is doing. I feel his great expertise, interest, admiration and his ability to be surprised regardless of age. I present the author with a gift edition of the French album "Eye to Eye".

Oleg Belyalov in his turn thanked everybody for coming, "This is very important for me. Each photograph carries the energy of the place, animal, and my attitude. If you have felt that, it means we are on the same wave. I showed you my favorite Semirechye. I was born here. I am grateful to Alexander Baron, Galina Korobkina, and all the staff of the Jewish Center for organizing the exhibition."

During the vernissage the audience was shown movie "Zhetysu" made by Oleg Belyalov at KazakhFilm studio with music by Erlan Kanapyanov. The experienced adults and naive children watched the photographs with the same interest - the works of a real master.
