There is a smell of honey in the Community Center Rimon. It means that Rosh-a-Shana - the new Year is coming soon. According to the tradition, we will eat apples dipping them into honey on this holiday.


According to the Jewish calendar the New Year will come on September 9-10. We are already preparing a jar of the tasty and useful product as a present to each member of our community.


The honey was brought to Rimon in large plastic bottles. Our volunteers Yuliya Lushkova, Evgeniy Gofman, Natalya Trofimchuk, Mariya Arepyeva packaged the honey. We are very grateful to them for that! Staff also helped, but the major work was done by the volunteers. Volunteers always support our community in all its activities. They are the basis of the community.


Every year, children and adults receive a honey present for Rosh-a-Shana. It is wonderful that this tradition is followed every year.
