The Children Initiative Program is well known for its care taken of socially underprivileged children. It makes good holidays for such children, organizes medical examinations. Sponsored and organized by the Program, a group of 30 people went to "Sary Arka" on July 21. It was early morning when our kids came to the resort place.


The building where our children were accommodated is surrounded by pine and birch trees. There were four children in each room. The kids were delighted to find bunk beds. Everybody wanted to sleep in the upper level.


Our sixth crew supervised by crew leader Aigerim went to the canteen to have breakfast. The children on duty laid the tables. After a good breakfast they quickly tidied up the room.


All kids were examined by a pediatrician. Their height and weight was measured. Each had an individual prescription - massage, paraffin treatment, electrophoresis, and medical gymnastics. A schedule of medical procedures was developed.


In the yard, two swimming pools with clean blue water looked inviting. In one of them there was a live gray fish. When our swimmers come to the pool, the fish will have to change its habitat.


Our kids have a full week of a wonderful time in the pine trees forest full of pleasant and useful activities, which would certainly include Kabbalat Shabbat.
