For the whole month there was a cheerful noise in Rimon every month. When the school classes were over, the Jewish children changed classes for the Community Center. Here they had interesting trips, hiking, and competitions - activities for all tastes!

Everybody likes to swim in a swimming pool including those who are experienced swimmers and those who need to feel the ground under their feet. Water gives a lot of joy to everybody! Besides from pleasure it is also a good training to be healthy for the next academic year. We also went to the cinema, the kids were very grateful! Our young viewers were delighted with "Shrek Forever" and "History of Toys".

We had many sports events and competitions. On June 16 group leaders Nastya Ursolova and Kolya Levyakov prepared and conducted Makkabiada. Two teams of our children demonstrated very good physical skills.

On June 21 we went to the Almaty Zoo where our children competed with monkeys in making faces. The monkeys did not like the competitors and were displeased.

On June 23 our children went to Kok Tybe by cable car. Fresh mounting air gave energy to our kids. There is a great view on the city from the Kok Tybe view point. Everybody looked in the binoculars to find his/her house and ask about unusual buildings they saw. In the mini-zoo the children tried to convince the Peacocks to open their tales and the peacocks obeyed! Can you imagine that? At the amusement park the kids let out their energy.

A very interesting excursion in the Geological Museum took place on June 25. The children saw all the riches of Kazakhstan subsoil. They paid the most of their attention to the map of Kazakhstan with kimberlitic tubes and a movie about the formation of our planet.

On June 28 we were walking around Family Park. Our kids are never tired of traditional amusements and ice cream on a sunny day.

There is a saying that everything has its end. On June 30 we summarized the results of the June season in the children’s camp "Rimon". Hesed Director Inessa Chugainova stressed the importance of the young leaders involved in the children’s camp. "Our children did not fight, were never idle, and knew a lot of new things thanks to our great leaders Nastya Ursolova and Kolya Levyakin. We are sincerely grateful to them!"

Our children not only had fun in the camp but also learned. English classes with a teacher Lyudmila Kolchedanova where the kids put on stage "Teremok" performance. All characters were speaking only English. The children made the funny costumes themselves under the guidance of Liliya Golubovskaya. The children learned Hebrew with Valentina Amsebovitskaya. All kids demonstrated their knowledge of Hebrew. We are sure that now they will never get lost in Israeli cities.

Inessa Chugainova thanked all teachers on behalf of the parents.

Lyudmila Samsonova taught the children to sing in chorus and organized a concert where the children performed the song "Erets Israel" and a dance designed by Choreograph Anna Eremina. In June the ensemble "Ionati" was getting ready for the Freihele Kinder Festival. We were lucky to be the first to see this beautiful dance of Mediterranean Jews. A young ensemble "Prahim" showed a cheerful dance with colorful hats.

At the end all children got their gifts. They were so happy! Inessa Chugainova thanked all parents for the help and for their great talented children!
