There is a very good singing group and a choir with great teachers in the Jewish Community Center Rimon. We carefully develop each generation of our children. We love and support all kids who are coming to us regardless of their aptitudes. We have many talented children and Kseniya Sorokolit is one of them. This singing girl often participates in our holiday community concerts, in the festivals of Jewish creativity. This year in Bulgaria at the competition "Sun. Friendship. Peace" 2010, Kseniya has won a prize in the nomination "Singing" and was granted a special award in the nomination "For Strong Will-to-Win Spirit".

In July, the VI International Competition "Sun. Friendship. Peace" 2010 took place. The art genres were various including playing instruments, solo and choir singing, choreography, circus, painting, and handicrafts. In total 230 children came to the resort town Obzor located on the Black Sea from Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. Kseniya Sorokolit, a member of our community, represented Almaty.

The Jewish Community made a lot of efforts to enable Ksyusha to participate in the competition in Bulgaria. Elina Kerzhakovskaya, Director of Arts Forum, sent a gratitude letter to Hesed Polina Director Inessa Chugainova "for assistance in organizing Kseniya Sorokolit’s trip to the competition and providing children with opportunities to implement thier creative potential". Our Community teacher of singing, Lyudmila Samsonova, received a diploma in the nomination "For Professional Skills".
