Every year, the Jewish Community Center Shemesh celebrates the International Child’s Day. Our community kids come together to play, participate in competitions and contests.


This time we invited our favorite fairy tale heroes: Barbie, Clown Klepa, Mickey Mouse, Sponge Bob, and Winnie-the-Pooh. Our children had a lot of fun; there were lots of smiles and laughter. Our youngest kids, 3-4 years old, were delighted to see the performance. Together with our funny "guests" the guys were playing different games, had sports competitions and intelligence contests. We also had musical performances, our young talents showed their skills.

It was nice to see how elder children help the younger. The parents were not left alone either. They participated in different activities along with the children as team captains. Altogether we were playing a "snow ball" fight. There were many children playing and it was a lot of fun!


After the action program was over, we all had a feast meal with a large tasty cake, many fruits and candies. Everybody was leaving for home in a very good mood.
