For the whole week, Jewish Community Center Shemesh was actively preparing for the quiz "From time immemorial ..." Participants attended classes on the main themes of Jewish tradition. We all have realized that the subject is so profound and we are very pressed for time. The guys systematized their knowledge, took notes, asked questions, and studied on their own at home in the evenings.
The interest in the quiz was very big. But the problem of young people under 25 years showed vividly in the preparation of the quiz. Unfortunately, many guys from those who could take part in it, had gone to other cities to study, and those who remained did not express interest, or may have been simply afraid of tight deadlines. In addition, many young people explained their reluctance to participate in the quiz by being busy.
Finally all participants gathered for Round I of the quiz "From time immemorial ..." All the participants came to the JCC "Shemesh" long before the appointed time. The guys looked through books, searched for materials in the library, talked with supervisors Larisa Brodskaya and Alexander Abramovich.
At 2 PM sharp the participants received questions and started answering them.

In the first few minutes there was some nervous atmosphere in the room but soon everybody calmed down and it became very quite. The guys concentrated on the work.
The first round has been completed. Soon we will have a second round. It will be a new challenge and we are ready for it.
