Victory Day is the holiday that unites people of all generations. It is important for the younger generation to remember what it cost to win the Victory.

Our veterans are Bertran Iosifovich Rubenshtein, Ovshiya Peisahovich Shafman, Nikolay Yakovlevich Abfelko, Mariya Ruvimovna Yankilevich, Haim Ershevich Shvarts, Haim Motalovich Pelermutov. They all have gone through extreme difficulties of the war. They have a lot to tell the younger generation. It is very important so that our children know the history of the Great Victory Day, remember the killed solders and respect the living veterans.

All our heroes are elderly people and we congratulated them at their homes. Hesed representatives were accompanied by the Shestakovs family, Svetlana and her son. The first-grade student, Sasha, wanted to meet the veterans in person and give them presents. We met as dear guests, invited to join the meals. Bertran Iosofovich Rubinshtein showed his war medals. We took pictures with everybody. Little Sasha asked many questions and requested to take him to congratulate the veterans next year.
