Mitsva Association continues implementing the project "Exhibition of Archive Documents". Kostany is the ninth city where such exhibition took place and people were able to see remarkable materials from Kazakhstani archives.

The following officials were present at the opening ceremony: President of Mitsva Association Alexandr Baron, Chairman of Kostanay Branch of Hesed Polina Petr Rubenshtein, Deputy Chairman of the Peoples Assembly of Kazakhstan in Kostanay Region Bagatur Dandybayev, Director of Culture Department of Kostanay Akimat Saule Burbayeva, University Professor Vladimir Gershun, Leading Specialist of Internal Politics Department of the Akimat Maryam Adayeva, Director of Publication Department Saltanat Tashanova, University Professor Yuriy Bondarenko, Chairman of the Regional Society "Kazakh Tili" Sagandyk Uryntayev, Great Patriotic War veterans.

The Regional Library named after Tolstoy in cooperation with the Jewish National Cultural Center organized this important event - the exhibition "Evacuation of Civilian Population of 1941-1942: Resurrecting the Past." An authentic war video newsreel was demonstrated and there was a presentation of the book "Evacuation of 1941-1942. Materials of the scientific conference held in Almaty in October 2008".

The exhibition was opened by President of Mitsva Association Alexander Baron. Welcoming remarks were made by Saule Burbayeva, Maryam Adayeva, Yuriy Bondarenko, Dmitriy Legkiy. Everybody noted the importance of this event for educating younger generation.

The movable exhibition presents copies of war documents: identification cards for travelling to the war front provided to actors (in particular to Kulyash Bayseitova), authentic music sheets of Sergey Shabelskiy’s song "Fight hard, fight bravely", bread ratio cards, and many other documents.

This remarkable exhibition enables Kazakhstanis to resurrect the history that must not be forgotten.
