Peter Rubinstein, Director of Kostanay Hesed, organized a trip for two families of Rudnyi community to the Resort "Pinery". The road itself was already pleasant with a light birch forest on both sides of the road.
We were three adults and three children. The resort staff greeted us warmly, accommodated in the rooms. Then we talked about the planned events and a daily routine. Our rooms were on the fifth floor of the main building. Right in front of our windows there was a lake and forest. We had all we needed to feel comfortable.
In the nursery our children were playing a lot with plenty of interesting toys and learning with various visual materials. The computer club pleasantly surprised us by a large selection of games for all ages. In the resort we played bowling for the first time in our lives and we found it very funny. Then we played chess with a great pleasure.
Our most memorable impression was from hiking in the woods. What a wonderful air there is! It makes you tipsy and dizzy, invigorates and gives ease. The children were happily running around the trees, collecting cones, observing squirrels who were leaping from branch to branch. There is a children’s playground in the forest and our grandchildren were happy to play there. And we, adults, wanted to run and play with them, and some of us have done it with a great pleasure.
After the walk we had a delicious lunch. The resort cuisine is very diverse. There were wonderful chefs who cooked lot of delicious things. We especially liked the pastries. The friendly waitresses offered a choice of our favorite dishes and for those who need medical treatment they offered dietary dishes. We all went to drink the healing mineral water from the wells located at the resort.
During these two days we got a lot of impressions and positive emotions. This trip is simply unforgettable! We are very grateful to our Kostanay branch of the Republican Jewish Charitable Public Association "Center Zabota - Hesed Polina" and its leaders. We hope that this was not the last trip to the fantastic woods.
