At the end April, an Annual Meeting of the American Jewish Committee took place. Leaders of Jewish communities of Europe, Africa, Australia, North and South America were present at the meeting. Kazakhstani Jews were represented by President of Mitsva Association Alexander Baron.

Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, Minister of Defense of Israel Ehud Barak, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Netherlands Maxime Verhagen spoke at the meeting. After the main reports were presented the audience was divided according to topics of interest and attended different panels.
