Finally long-awaited summer has come! We have finished with home works, studying, worrying about getting good marks, and passing exams… Ahead we have sunny days of relaxation, good mood and new impressions!


How our children see the summer? We suggested they draw pictures of it. The kids did a good job. They drew the sea coasts, forest meadows, bright greenery, and joyful sun…


On the first Friday of June, at the traditional Shabbat in Hesed Rahel, we congratulated our children with a successful completion of the academic year and the beginning of summer vacation. For the whole year, our guys were working in different activity groups, sports sections, the choir, and choreography group. At the celebration, the children made a performance where they demonstrated their skills in singing, dancing, and sports.


Our magic flower suggested the guys have a team completion. They quickly divided into two teams of girls and boys, made up teams’ names - "Stars" and "Sportiks", slogans and emblems. During competitions the kids demonstrated their command of the Russian language, drawing skills, and ability to think clearly and creatively, and of course, their knowledge of Jewish holidays. We had a strict jury but when it summarized the results, it turned out that both teams made an equal number of scores. Friendship won!


Our first summer holiday ended with drinking tea with lots of tasty deserts. It is good to know that we have many interesting and happy days ahead!
