Summer is the best time for taking a holiday. Children and adults of Shymkent community had a good time at health camp "Arman" in the canyon of Mashat river. These were unforgettable days for our kids. They swam in the swimming pool with great pleasure. Some kids had a chance to learn to swim.

The children actively participated in competitions and quizzes, showed a good knowledge of Jewish traditions. There were five children teams who were going through different tests. They surprised everyone with artistic, dancing, musical talents and physical abilities. We summarized the results of competitions at a big holiday concert. Jewish kids were showing sketches, singing songs, dancing, and reciting their own poems. The parents were actively supporting their children.

We gave our camp a name "Ahdut" - "Unity". This is symbolic. Parents united with children. Some families were in the camp for the first time. We wanted to help them mix with others. We would like to give a special credit to Stella Stuchevskaya and Darya Chibisova who organized teambuilding games and quizzes. Everybody was given a task, the elder generation was elected to be the jury (but they were actively involved in all activities). It was a lot of fun. The children got many presents.

Two days passes quickly. Nobody wanted to leave. It was a great time for the adults and children; they learned a lot of new things. The summer is going on; new adventures are waiting for us.
