The G-d made the Hanukkah miracle for the entire Jewish people, therefore we have a Hanukkiah and light candles in every Jewish home these days.

Despite the blizzard and snowstorm our community gathered to light the festive lighting in the Jewish center "Aviv" in Taldykorgan. We lit it up on Friday before Shabbat candles. The word Hanukkah has a common root with the word "Hinuh" - education. And according to the tradition, after lighting the candles we discussed the meaning of the holiday and told stories associated with it. In our Jewish center we were speaking about the miracle of Hanukkah.
