On August 12 Head of State Nursultan Nasarbayev came to Taldykorgan for a working visit.

In honor of the President, a concert with participation of all ethnical groups living in Taldykorgan was held. Nursultan Abishevich was in a very good mood and smiled a lot. He thanked for the concert and said that he is glad that we have peace and stability in our multi-ethnical state. The President drew attention of Taldykorgan residents to the importance of learning the state language - each Kazakhstani citizen should have a good command of Kazakh language at least on a spoken level. Nursultan Abishevich pointed out that the younger generation will grow in the framework of the new state policy "Trilinguality" and should be able to speak three languages: Kazakh, Russian, and English. Besides, the President said that Chinese is gaining importance and should also be actively learned.

The Jewish Charity Center Aviv was present at the meeting with the President along with other ethnical centers.
