SUKKOT IS A JOYFUL HOLIDAY

Uralsk 26.09.2010

For several years the Jewish community has been very lucky on Sukkot holiday. For example, we were lucky to get a car or, all of a sudden, the gloomy weather improved and we enjoyed a sunny day right on Sukkot. How can we not believe in magic?

So this time we had a pleasant surprise again. We celebrated Sukkot in suburban camp "Daryn". We arrived on Friday and we were able to meet the Saturday with lighting candles, prayers and a traditional feast. The next morning we began our vacation with a cheerful relaxation, walks and socializing. The children played noisy games and enjoyed the open air. Warm weather, beautiful nature, coniferous forest, the Derkul River ...

We did not forget to observe our traditions: sat in a hut, read a book about Sukkot with our children about the four G-d given plants and what they symbolize. Jewish chefs treated us with Jewish traditional dishes. In "Daryn" we were provided with excellent rooms where we could fall asleep full of impressions late at night.

We had more pleasant surprises on Sunday. We had a pleasant tour of museums all over our city. As you know, it is hard to find time to visit the city attractions due to the everyday routine in our busy lives.

We have received a lot of positive energy and had a good rest. We are grateful to everyone who took part in organizing this wonderful event.
