Throughout twelve years Association of Jewish national organizations of Kazakhstan makes scientific researches devoted to a refugee and evacuated during Great Patriotic War problem. This is ambiguous, heavy page of our history on which not only names of factories, factories and manufactures, but also names of people are written down. These names remained long time unfairly forgotten, but at the initiative of Association of Jewish national organizations and with support of “Joint” organization and the Euroasian Jewish congress, research and the conferences devoted to such researches, are made regularly. Materials of V international conference which has taken place in 2010, represent great interest for the science, for archives not only the Jewish community and the Jewish organizations, but also for a historical science of Republic Kazakhstan. These materials have been published in the book with laconic and exhaustive name «History. Memory. People». The presentation of it has taken place on June, 7th.

The Association of the Jewish national organizations in cooperation with the central state archive of Republic Kazakhstan presented the book. As have underlined director of state archive Lazzat Aktaeva and the president of Association of Jewish national organizations of Kazakhstan Alexandr Baron, presentation’s purpose is to acquaint with the book in which unique materials are collected. Alexandr Baron also marks how hospitable and ready to accept on their land were and remain people of Kazakhstan. The consul of Ukraine Lyudmila Protasova expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan and the people living here. Lyudmila Protasova expressed hope of carrying out further conferences with the subsequent publication of materials and as on cooperation of archives of Ukraine and Kazakhstan.

With readiness of support of researches representative of city Akimat Aliya Tursumuratova and representative of archive of the President, the author of articles Evgenie Chilikova have made their statements. From Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan a word was taken by the representative of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the southern region Gabit Nuradil. He underlined that all people who have found the second home there, joined the big family. «Kazakhstan is proud to be the home of hundred thirty ethnoses», underlined Gabit Nuradil.

It is necessary to note Galina Nahmanovich's performance. On book pages «History. Memory. People» it is possible to find her work devoted to her father, to the Hero of Socialist Work Alexander Nahmanovich. She thanked organizers of conferences for possibility to tell about outstanding people.

The book «History. Memory. People» sums up the fifth international conference in which seven countries - USA Canada, Israel, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan - took part. However this book puts not an end, but a comma –l researches proceed, and the purpose remains: to remember, restore, tell to people about hard times, about destinies of the refugees and evacuated. The following conference is planned for 2012, and the last presentation is a bridge to the future works and the future performances.
