The book «History. Memory. People» which presentation has taken place on June, 7th, 2011, has interested not only the researchers. Libraries of Almaty among which library of University of the International Business, the library of university "Turan" and National library of Republic Kazakhstan have stated the interest in materials of Vth international conference.

Researches are spent at the initiative of Association of Jewish organizations of Kazakhstan, and the book «History. Memory. People» is devoted to destinies of Jews of Republic Kazakhstan and to the period of evacuation of 1940-1945 when not only Jews, but also many other people of the former USSR were moved to the territory of Kazakhstan.

Transfer of books to libraries of University of the International Business, library of university "Turan" and National library of Republic Kazakhstan has taken place this week. For the Jewish community of Republic Kazakhstan cooperation with the state and university libraries is very important, and Republic Kazakhstan libraries in turn mark the importance of the project made by Association of the Jewish organizations with assistance of the Euroasian Jewish congress and "Joint" organization. In spite of the fact that since evacuation already more than sixty years have passed, this topic remains actual; thanks to researches, conferences and published materials we have possibility to remember those events, those people and to transfer and store this memory.
