The first stage of a seminar «Conversations on the Silk way» has taken place from August, 21 till August, 24th in territory of one of boarding houses of Issyk Kul. The seminar mentioning a theme of the central-Asian historical and cultural self-identification was moderated by the known culturologist Murat Auezov, the chairman of Fund of Muhtar Auezov. There were representatives of Association of the people of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in the name of the chairman of the council of Association of the people of Kyrgyzstan Bektemir Murzubraimov and the councilor of Association of the people of Kazakhstan, the president of Association of the Jewish organizations of Republic Kazakhstan, Alexander Baron.

The questions of revival and strengthening of fruitful spiritual communications between the countries and the people of the central-Asian region were discussed. The further work of a seminar will proceed in August, 2012. And the Jewish community doesn't remain away from dialogue of the countries which have become a house for the community.
