November, 26th in Karaganda as the part of Jewish Book Fest the second concert prepared by of children from JCC "Shemesh" for city schools has taken place. The concert took place in the Red hall of a building of Party «Nur Otan». The hall calculated on six hundred places was almost full. Pupils of 5-9-s' grades of ten schools have come this day to get acquainted with culture of the Jewish people. But children didn't suspect that will see not only dances and songs of Jews, but also learn a lot of the new.

Organizers of the event led by the director of communal center "Shemesh" Irina Kozhanovsky have prepared the program where music was accompanied by stories about tradition, literature, holidays, people languages which history covers more than two thousand years. Children have learned about Shabat, visited the Jewish place, have got acquainted with the Chassids and learned many the interesting facts about modern Israel and its capital Jerusalem.

Especially children were grasped by games which Irina Kozhanovsky made in the hall. Pupils of schools actively remembered analogs of the Jewish proverbs from Russian and Kazakh folklore. With surprise children have learned that proverbs known for them and sayings which they often use in an everyday life are from the Jewish folklore.
