The open seminar on Judaism «Humash» passed from September, 8 till September, 10th, 2011 in Kostany on the basis of a synagogue. Being planned action of the Project "ShoReSh" supported by Fund of a name Pinkus (Israel), the seminar has been devoted to questions of preparation of Kazakhstan competition starting in October "From immemorial". The seminar appreciably became pioneer: for the first time it has passed in synagogue of "Bejt Rahel", for the first time also the seminar was open. It was visited by many members of the Jewish community of Kostanay.

The story of Josef and his brothers was told by Anastasiya Borovikova from Almaty. The deep psychological analysis of behavior of the basic heroes of this bible "novel", made by Nastya hasn't left any indifferent listener. Good lectures were also made by Elico Chikovani (Almaty) on «World and Person Creation», Nikolay Atran (Shymkent) on a«Laws of sacrifices and sanctity in the book Vaikra». Irina Tveritneva (Pavlodar) and Ivan Homjakov (Karaganda) has also managed to make good lectures. Alexander Matushkin (Taldykorgan) has opened the maintenance of heads of the book "Shmot". The general review of the Jewish history was made by Alexander Abramovich (Karaganda).

At seminar opening there was representatives regional Akimat in the name of the chief of department on interaction with high schools, Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan and religious organizations Adaeva Marjam and representatives of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan in the name of managing secretary of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan Dandybaev Bakitur, and members of communal council of a synagogue. The big role in organizations of this seminar was played by the President of Association "Mitzva" Alexander Baron. The feasible help was rendered by the director of Kostanay Hesed Peter Rubinshtein.
