The synagogue of Kostanay becomes the communal center of Jews of Kostanaisky area. Seminars on Judaism take place here monthly with the support of Republican Association of Jewish national organizations "Mitsva".

The seminar took place on November, 25-26th, 2011. This time participants of a seminar have been divided into three groups. The first was «Orthodox modernism in a Judaism», then community from Kostanay and Rudny were connected. The lessons on bases of the Jewish culture on «Epoch of Forefathers», «TaNaH: images of forefathers of the Jewish people», «Hanuka – holyday of light». The seminar was made by the coordinator of the educational project ShoreSh Alexander Abramovich with assistance of the Hesed director Peter Rubinshtein and the manager of the synagogue Anna Kakirova.

After the seminar participants met Shabbat, discussed the week chapter - peripetias of history of forefather Jakob. In the seminar about thirty persons have taken part.
