Cheerful Purim, we waited for you! Bright, ancient, joyful Purim, we have waited you! Out worker Natalya Reshetnyak has been teaching children for a month. And it brought its fruits! The holiday was wonderful! The gentle maiden voice sounds as Katya Pobedinsky reads Scroll of Ester and familiar and eternally new story revives once again. Theatrical play shows historical events, combining old story and new jokes. The multi-colored small amusing clowns Ksusha and Dasha obviously feel good on a scene as they serve to Ahashverosh, punish rebellious Vashti, and machinate to malicious Aman.
The tsar wants fun? One mobile phone call and vagrant actors are here the hall admires surprising flexibility of the little dancer Ashimova Rita, applauds to young singer Arina Ruban. The tsar has decided to choose the new wife and beautiful girls caress his look. But the best is Ester. The tsar has fallen in love with her and doesn’t care about Jews whom decides to destroy evil Aman. But wise Mordechai appeals to his niece Ester. And she risks her life demanding to cancel execution of Jews and to punish Aman.
The evil is punished and Jews triumph and the concert proceeds. We thank the visitors of our holiday and members of community. With bated breath we listen to songs in the Kazakh and Russian languages performed by a Sagindykovy family, enthusiastically claps to talented dancers Rudyh Igor and Iskakova Asel. After the concert JCC volunteers ask visitors to take part in a quiz devoted to Purim. The concert is over put not all prescriptions are fulfilled. Hesed’s director Alevtina Ruban gives the gift to children and invites for dinner. The visitors give tzdaka and go to foyer. On a table there's not an inch of room! Fruit, wine and “gomentashen” with sweet stuffing. We can sit at the table or to have a look on Dasha Spitsina’s exhibition of drawings and handmade works from clay. Children’s work unleashes our imagination.
