On May, 6th in Hesed the grand welcome devoted to the 66 anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War has been organized. Veterans of the War and workers of back have taken part in it. There were Lev Berkovich, Jacob Trahman, Leonid Rapoport, Liza Gembom, Emilija Andreeva and others. Hesed’s workers have visited veterans who couldn't take part in the event for a state of health and gave them grocery sets. The chairman of the Jewish cultural center and sponsors has come to congratulate veterans. Nobody has left without gifts.

Bella Atran, director of Hesed said the first word and wished health and well being. Then there was a minute of silence. Children from Children's club and youth community prepared a concert for veterans. There were songs of War and the Jewish songs have sounded. Veterans told to children about the destinies. Nina Viktorova has told about poets who wrote about war and read fragments from their poems. Everyone lit a candle in memory of the lost soldiers. The festive dishes were prepared. Special gratitude to Evgenue Grigorevna, the volunteer of Hesed who has made many dishes, she was helped by Alena Petrenko and Nadezhda Kozinko. The coordinator of the CI program Chibisova Irina made a pie for veterans. Throughout a holiday sounded military songs performed by Korotkov Alexander.
