On Sunday, October, 2nd in our regional House of Friendship we met grandmothers and grandfathers from all cultural centers. So we celebrated Day of elderly persons. As the initiator of action the Jewish cultural charitable center "Aviv" has acted.

We have seated our veterans behind little tables in cozy cafe. In warm easy atmosphere the dialogue behind a generous table has begun and there were no pathos speeches, and each our pensioner simply told, how he or she has arrived to Kazakhstan, about children and grandsons. Zoe Ananina (Mazover), despite the age – she’s eighty, recited Ahmatova and Yesenin’s verses. The Kazakh, Korean, Tatar and Jewish melodies sounded.
