This year we celebrate 10th anniversary of Festival of the Jewish Book, therefore and the program was accordingly – more sated than usually. The corner of a book exhibition dazzled with fiction novelties: anthology of the Jewish teacher has occupied the whole shelf is an encyclopedic arch of knowledge in all areas of the Jewish culture.

After the short historical inquiry on the state Israel, the book exhibition with its comments and a book kaleidoscope under the name «In the world of the Jewish book» has been presented by participants. Here was also a presentation of novelties: Tamara Shajkevich-Ilina's book «Carnation on asphalt» and presented by volunteers (Valentina Rastorgueva and Ekaterina Zinchenko – employees of library) Jewish authors: Yury Tynyanov, Dzheroma Selinzher and Janusha Korchek.

In «musical pauses» which "diluted" our literary part, dance-group "Tamir" has presented Jewish dances: «Freilihe Kinder» and «Shabbat Shalom». The children's page of festival was represented the head of children's programs by Alla Koroleva theatrical circle performance «Book kingdom». And here the final part – musical page «In the music world» was presented by Lyudmila Kirshner already next day to cafe "Elba". It was the present anniversary festival.

And under "curtain" - the most active participants have been awarded special prizes, and volunteers have still received also the memorable badges, sent of Almaty, for what it special gratitude.
