On May 30-31 in the city of Astana the IV Congress of leaders of world and traditional religions took place. Being a global dialogue platform, the international forum once again confirmed the demand and the importance.
At a forum discussions on plenary were carried out and section meetings, the general approaches to the most important questions of global dialogue of cultures and religions are defined. The address in which the appeal filled with high spiritual sense sounded was accepted.
As representatives of Judaism as world religion were the main Ashkenazy rabbi of the state of Israel Jon Metsger and the main Sefardi rabbi of the state of Israel Shlomo Amar. From Jews of the Republic of Kazakhstan there was a head of the Jewish Congress of Kazakhstan Alexander Mashkevich and the president of the Association of Jewish organizations "Mitsva" Alexander Baron.
«Religious leaders addressed to the mankind to aspire to interaction, consent and the peace, justice and creation for the sake of the future of our planet. I am convinced that this appeal will be favourably apprehended not only by believers and followers of various dogmas», – Head of state Nursultan Nazarbayev told, speaking at closing of the IV Congress of leaders of world and traditional religions.
