May 14, 2012 in Astana in Radisson SAS Astana hotel, by the invitation of embassy of Israel in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the meeting in honor of the 64th anniversary of Independence of the state of Israel and the 20 anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the State of Israel and the Republic of Kazakhstan took place.

There were: the vice-minister of the industry and new technologies of Kazakhstan Albert Rau, ambassadors of Russia, Georgia, the Netherlands, Slovenia and many other states, rabbi Shmuel Kornaukh, director of Hesed Elena Levinf, the Karaganda Hesed's director Bella Kamenetskaya, the director of the communal center of Karaganda Irina Kozhanovsky, young leaders of community of Astana, businessmen, representatives of the public.

Plenipotentiary ambassador of the State of Israel in Kazakhstan Israel Mei Ami took the salutatory word and told about bright history and great achievements of Israel, about development of the Israeli-Kazakhstan relations, about a growing role of Kazakhstan in the international, political and economic spheres acted. The national anthems of Israel and Kazakhstan sounded.

The director of Astana Hesed Elena Levina and the director of Karaganda Hesed Bella Kamenetskaya were awarded by the certificate of honor of Embassy of the State of Israel in the Republic of Kazakhstan on the occasion of the 20 anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the state of Israel and the Republic of Kazakhstan for a powerful contribution to successful development of the bilateral relations between the countries.
