The fourth day of FREILEHE KINDER is traditionally devoted to thematic game. Each time children learn about detail of the Jewish tradition and culture. On the eighth FREILEHE KINDER where the Jewish town — shtetl became subject, game as was devoted to it. In the first day participants of a festival camp were divided into 10 groups - "families" with such traditional surnames, as Rabinovich, Kleyzmer, Soykhet, Roytman... And now came to build time our festival shtetl.

15 stations were for this purpose created, and each family team should earn "money" to build necessary buildings in the town — a synagogue, hospital, a shoe or portnyazhny workshop. But it is not enough simply money. The right needs to be constructed still to win, having proved the skills or knowledge.

The FREILEHE KINDER camp festival program always differed deep immersion in the Jewish subject. A serious approach — serious training, start up and in a game form. Therefore, it is not necessary to be surprised that at Bakery station children should answer often quite difficult questions on kashrut, at "Bank" station the director of Hesed Astana Elena Levina who has assumed a role of the banker, acquainted with history of emergence and development of the Jewish banks. The musical station was devoted to culture of the Jewish places — to writers, such as Sholom Aleichem and Bashevis-Singer, and to artists — for example, to Marc Chagall, well and certainly to the Jewish music. The history of kleyzmersky ensembles and possibility for a while to become such orchestra — whether it is the most interesting form of education?

"Synagogue" became the most difficult station, according to participants. After all the teacher of Judaism and project manager of "Shoresh" Alexander Abramovich made difficult questions on a life, way and features of ashkenazsky synagogues. However teams, remembering received before knowledge within the same project, with success coped with a task. And Alexander Abramovich Eliko Chikovani's apprentice told about the Jewish education — which began since childhood, and her station and was called - "Heder".

The FREILEHE KINDER festival camp gives also practical skills: in a shoe workshop of children trained to do the most real slippers, and the jeweler workshop was especially fallen in love to girls, after all there they could weave ornaments from beads and pastes. Sports «street games», traditional at fairs, too could bring to children the precious money necessary on construction of buildings of the town. Intellectual tasks of "Inn", dances and amusing games of dancing studio and "hospital", photoworkshop... really, the FREILEHE KINDER camp festival tries to capture all possible aspects of children's creativity, to prove in the most various directions of art, and certainly, to receive new knowledge, plunging into the atmosphere of the Jewish culture, history and tradition. But who will win game?

This question remained unresolved before festival closing. But at first families presented "homework" Here the three first place: a family Goldstein, a family Muchnik, and the first place — at a family Shafner. We congratulate winners! In summary the ideological inspirer of FREILEHE KINDER, the president of Association of the Jewish organizations "Mitsva" Alexander Baron suggested everyone to send the wishes on the following festival. After all FREILEHE KINDER becomes for children and for the sake of children.

Well, and a point - is more true, the dots, after all the history FREILEHE KINDER proceed, - put also the huge pie representing the Jewish town, successfully constructed by participants of camp festival, and the general song with repeating motive «the festival best in the world», and bright red hearts where children wrote the wishes each other. After all, besides that they plunged into the Jewish town besides that developed and showed the creativity, they became friends.

It is impossible to overestimate value of this event for the Jewish community not only Kazakhstan, but all CIS. And we look forward the following, the ninth FREILEHE KINDER...
