On February, 24-25th, 2012 the seminar on Judaism in the Kostanay Jewish communal center located in a synagogue has taken place. The given seminar from a cycle "The Basis of the Jewish culture» has been devoted the Jewish history – an epoch of the First temple, and also philosophy of a holiday Tu bi-Shvat. The coordinator of the ShoreSh project Alexander Abramovich holding the seminar, has offered participants not only the general historical review of an epoch of the First temple, but also the detailed characteristics of the main characters opened on the basis of TaNaH.

Prophet Shmuel, tsars Shaul, David, Shlomo, Ahav – all these heroes of an epoch deserve close examination, after all experience of the state Jewish life is first of all their experience. Books of Shmuel and Mlahim don't draw the Jewish tsars persons idealized, they’re quite terrestrial. They feel passion, battle and die, struggle for freedom and expansion of borders of Israel - bright images demand our attention and understanding.
