January, 27th is the International day of memory of victims of the Holocaust. This date has been chosen because this day the Soviet armies have released people from concentration camp Osventsim (territory of present Poland). We are obliged to remember all lessons of the Second World War. We are obliged to declare to present and future generations unanimously: nobody can and has no right to be indifferent to anti-Semitism, xenophobia, other displays of racial or religious intolerance.

Therefore in Hesed there are lessons of tolerance, a memorial evening, discussion. Our children firsthand learn about those terrible events.

This year the Memory candle was lit by Gutnik Grigory, the witness of those events. At a memorial evening the memoirs were presented by Grigory Gutnik, Elionora Neumann, Speaking, Basya Zeleneeva, Lev Tolchinsky. On the termination for present at a memorial evening the documentary film «Crystal night» has been shown.
