On February 3d all Jewish world celebrates World Shabbat. This celebrating has been established by rabbis of France to collect all Jews worldwide, to unite them this day – even those who are far from keeping of all traditions. In the city of Taldykorgan World Shabbat has passed and in cultural Jewish center "Aviv".

Coordinator of Hesed Alexander Matushkin has read the chapter of a Torah named "Beshalah" and has told to the gathered visitors of Shabbat about sense of the chapter. In this chapter of Torah it is told about Egyptians pursued Jews. Midrash tells that the last slave, who was at waters of Red sea, has seen more than Jehezkel, one of the greatest Jewish prophets.

Other indispensable attributes of Shabbat: Ignitions of candles, Kiddush, bread blessing, slow conversation behind a festive table have also taken place. And in summary we have congratulated birthday men of January – volunteers T.Perevalovu and N.Averyanov. Thus, World Shabbat became a significant holiday and at us in a city, as well as in all other Jewish world.
