The first Central Asian Jewish Festival of Children and Youth's Art "FREILEHE KINDER" was held in Karaganda in early June 2005. Children from 12 cities of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan had three days to acquaint citizens with Jewish culture. About 40 teams or 120 participants took part in the festival. The youngest player was 5, and "seniors" were 24-25 years old.
