Recently the Jewish Republican Library filial in Aktobe was given a number of new books. Now there are already 1300 books in the library. Most of them were given by the community members.

   Representations of new books are regularly held in the library, there also works Literary Hall and Historical Club. Another branch of library work is a "Library on Wheels" program. Due to that program Aktobe citizens, as well as old people, who live in Aktobe, but don't have a possibility to come out of houses, are always glad to see library workers, bringing them new books and periodicals.

   Besides this, library organizes charitable actions. Not so long ago, about 700 books were given to the city children's library, children's house in Alga city, adaptation center for people without constant place of living.
