A new program "Hostess" has been presented in Almaty JCC "Shalom" family club. Lubov Koretskaya told the club members about peculiarities of Jewish cookery.

   Club members discussed the way Jewish Diaspora acquired some ethnic food, but at the same time kept observing the laws of Kashruth.

   This time the meeting participants were offered four receipts: a salad, snack, chicken chop stewed with vegetables, and "Esther" cake. All the members of the family club had a chance to taste the dishes.

   The next meeting of "Shalom" club is planned to be devoted to knitting, sewing, massage, and natural cosmetics.
