Mothers
and fathers! Grandmothers and grandfathers! This brief review of books
that the Jewish Republican library offers to readers of www.mitsva.kz
web-site is addressed to you.
Today books are replaced by computers and T.V. Most children
don't read at all. What should we do? How to invoke their desire to take
a book in hands? Probably it could be possible in case we read to them
and with them. We can't let our growing generation loose an enormous heritage
of culture and literature. Literature reflects life of nations, countries
and the whole planet. We must, we have to render a culture of reading
to our children.
When and what should we start to read to our children?
Members of the Jewish Republican library will easily answer this question.
Recently it was given a number of books "For the smallest",
issued by "Samovar" edition in Moscow. We are glad that editors
understand that
children should be taught the way how to read and understand, how to love,
how to be kind and careful!!!
This wonderful line of books includes poems checked by the
time. There one could find poems by Agniya Barto, Eduard Uspenskiy, Elena
Blaginina, Boris Zahoder and many others. Aren't they familiar to you?!
And what a wonderful names of those mini-collections: ""Brothers-sisters",
"Kittens-puppies", "I'm growing up", "To children
about animals" and more and more … Illustrations - understandable
and clear even to a kid - attract attention of both adults and children.
Poems themselves are instructive and very kind.
Bright mini collections of poems will bring joy both to readers
and listeners. And the main thing, they will be very useful to your child.
