A musicologist, music school teacher and volunteer Rimma Gryaznova has presented a lecture in Petropavlovsk JCC. It was devoted to life and music of Felix Mendelson-Bartoldi. His best compositions were performed by the children's studio manager Tatyana Falaleyeva.

   When hearing about Mendelson people usually remember only the Wedding March. After the lecture Petropavlovsk community also knew his Spring Song, Nocturne, and Rondo Capricciozo.

   Both the lecturer and the audience agreed that the series lectures would go on.
