OPENING DAY

Almaty 14.11.2005

  In the exhibition hall of Hesed "Polina" the VIII fall exhibition of Kazakhstan artist-aquarellist, Yuri Shneiderman began working. This year Yuri Shneiderman has presented to attention of Almaty citizens a series of landscapes devoted, as author, has told "to Cities, in which I succeeded to be".

  To congratulate the artist there the representatives of the Jewish organizations of Almaty, art historian, colleagues, friends, admirers, and press came.

  - We are very glad, that exactly, in Hesed, the opening days of such remarkable artist will annually be carried out - has told, on opening of an exhibition Alexandr Baron - the Works of Yuri Shneiderman are surprising, and give desire to live.

  For this day Shneiderman has created more than 6000 aquarelles. Many of them are in Shardenov’s museum (Kazakhstan), Rekhlov’s museum (Russia), and private collections of different collectors in Moscow, Leningrad, Almaty, and for some time now in Israel, England, Austria, Sweden, Australia, Finland, Japan, Turkey, Iran, Philippines, Marocco, China, and South Korea.

  In opinion of art historians and Shneiderman's colleagues new works are complete "of a wind of changes". The first visitors of an exhibition also have noted, that despite of the respectable age, Yuri is not afraid to vary, to experiment engineering, subjects of works. One Shneiderman's work is constant - cheerfulness and love to the native people shown in landscapes, cities, telling about life becoming native for many generations of the Jews.
