Each year in time of Pesach Jews again and again experience liberation from the Egyptian slavery, which took place 3000 years ago. The exodus from Egypt was preceded with some centuries of slavery. The history enslavement of the Jews and their Exodus is described in the second book of Pentateuch - Shmot (chapter 1-12).
However our wise men teach us, that the Exodus it is not simple event which was having place many centuries ago, and constant process, which renders incessant influence on life of the Jews.
The first lesson, which we can take from a history of Exodus, consists that all people should be free. The Jews should never forget that they "were the newcomers in ground Egyptian", and for this reason to the Jews was commanded to concern to the widows, orphans, newcomers and poor men with love and generosity. In the world, in which never disappear famine, poverty and sufferings, Jews were commanded monthly to remember, that the Most High has given us representation about what should be the world.
This year Pesach in a community passed on clubs. More than 350 men took part in Seder.
In Sunday morning at the large table of Jewish Community Center gathered children, their mums and grandmothers. The hall was decorated festively by competitive works of children drawn to a holiday Pesach together with the talented volunteer-teacher on visual arts Mila Keller. Children beforehand have learnt some Easter songs under the direction of the remarkable teacher Ludmila Samsonova. Huge gratitude to the parents: Anna Rzhevskaya, Natalie Trokhimchuk, Irina Berseneva, Gulya Musina. They prepared all for realization of Seder: boiled by the special way the hens, potatoes and eggs, prepared haroset, beautifully served table.
Beginning of children's Seder blessed "Community Father" Alexandr Baron
&For children of a community Seder carried out the teacher of Torah and tradition Anna Sailyantz. In the game form, supplementing the story with demonstration material, she very interestingly told to the guys about a history of Pesach, its basic features and attributes. Children attentively listened to the fascinating story about miracles, which revealed the Most High to the people. In their eyes that compassion was read, pleasure for the people, which, having gone through all peripeteia got wonderful liberation.
The traditional four questions were given, with what this night differs from all other nights. Children with pleasure guessed meaning of figures, which offered to them Anna Sailyantz, searched Afikoman, sang Pesach songs. It would be desirable to think, that the knowledge of tradition received in Community Center, in the future will help with realization of Seder at home, in a circle of family.
Realization of the Jewish holidays and observance of traditions gradually become a part of life of each family of the Jewish community.
