The Jewish cuisine is unique and various. The skill to cook well and to devote itself to family many centuries was distinctive feature of the Jewish woman. In past weekend in Jewish Community Center "Rimon" the culinary competition "Dish for Pesakh" passed. Distinctive feature of this competition was that the participation in it was taken by all age groups: both "grandmothers", and "mums", and "grand daughters".

Participant of the senior age group Helena Matlina made a pie from Matza, and Ekaterina Grinstein - matsebray. A family team of the Bersenevs (Nastya 6 years, Kostya 18 years, and their mum Irina) has presented for competition the stuffed fish.

The second family team Trokhimchuk, pleased gathered with a pie from Matza, decorated with marshmallow. Two young participants Zhenya Chugaynova (thick pancake from Matza) and Liana Rachkovskaya (pie from Matza) looked on competition very adequately, their dishes on flavoring did not concede at all aces at culinary.

The theatrical statement of the Children's centre "Exodus of Jews from Egypt" opened competition. And remembering that Pesakh - is the holiday of all people, was decided, that in a role of jury all spectators this time will act. The winner was defined by voting! And though in amount of votes has won the dish of Natalie Trokhimchuk, the jury has decided not to award the first places, and the diploma of the "Winner of competition" and small gift was handed to each participant.

The prizes were received also by those spectators, who took active participation in quiz, devoted to history of Pesakh. In the whole competition passed in a kind family atmosphere. Let these competitions become traditional, as they pull together the people of different ages, and also acquaint beginning hostesses and all wishing with secrets of the Jewish national cuisine.
