The history of family is tragic, as well as history of thousand victims of the Second World war. In June, 1941 Vladimir Egorov was 16, he submitted the documents to chemical-technological institute of Kharkov. His father worked as the chief accountant for large establishment, mother - Lubov Egorova (maiden name Uchitel) - was children's doctor. In the beginning of war to them from Moldova the sister of the mother Golda has reached. The fascists have shot her son, daughter-in-law, and grandson. In Kharkov lived also the second sister - Sophya, pharmacist which has arrived from France in 1928.

The destiny was ruthless to this family: Sophya was lost at bombing of a sanitary train, Golda and Volodya with the mother appeared in ghetto. They could not evacuate because of heavy illness of the father Eugenie. In night on November 7, 1941 the mother has woken Volodya and showed a place, where it was possible to get out from ghetto. So they said good bye for ever: the women the fascists have shot. Volodya has come home and has found there … the killed father. Under a cover of night he managed to bury the father in yard.

He has not relatives in a city. He knew that the third sister of the mother Polina with the husband Alexandr Rabinovitch and daughter Gilda were evacuated in Zlatoust (only they managed to escape after war they have returned to Kharkov). Volodya has gone to form Master Faina Volkhracheva. The fearless woman sheltered the Jewish boy, shared with him last piece of bread. Teacher of mathematics Maria Milutina helped her. The destiny then has thanked these perfect women, having presented them long, life, filled by sense. The schoolboy, rescued by them, not too much outlived them …

Volodya after war has graduated from Moscow machine-building institute, worked in Irkutsk area as the main engineer of building trust. In 1961 the romanticism brought him with family in the Kazakhstan city Jetygaru on construction of asbestos combine. Vladimir more than 30 years of the life have given back to this city. He was the leader of building complex, as the engineer of the highest qualification worked creatively, headed many years rationalization work, grew the innovators of manufacture. Vladimir Egorov was awarded rank "Deserved rationalizer of Kazakh SSR". Smoothly advised the students helped the young experts of combine.

He was the man of high culture, connoisseur of painting, literature, theatre. His lectures were successful in city, till now Jetygarians remember his interesting articles in local press. And he was also keen philatelist was engaged in club of young philatelists. Children participated in exhibitions in Almaty, Moscow, abroad, won the awards. Tens of winners due to the chief have visited in Artek.

Vladimir wrote verses, epigrams, greeting for anniversaries to the friends familiar, people, known in city. He was the constant participant of literary - musical evenings, club "What? Where? When?", organizer of competition of youth in humor. It was the man of versatile interests, encyclopedic knowledge. He loved the people, appreciated communication. Having met with a heavy illness, Vladimir showed the present courage: a little who guessed, how he suffers.

Vladimir Egorov died on February 15, 1993 because of disease of blood. But till now he is remembered in city, he frequently is recollected by the city newspaper. Here lives his widow Alla, daughter Natalie - economist, son Vladimir - doctor on education, owner of a drugstore. Two grand daughters Ocsana and Margaret - are students of Kostanay social academy.

Vladimir conducted active correspondence with the relatives who appeared after war abroad, with rescuers - teachers from Kharkov, with the classmates. Now connections have broken, the Jewish community of Kostanay area has addressed through the Internet to broadcast "Wait for me" to find the relatives and friends, of the Egorovs family.
